Following hot on the heels of the home kit (Friday) and the away kit (Saturday), Easington United unveiled their 2026/27 third kit, or alternate, on the Sabbath, and it is a holy garment indeed!
The Eastenders recently signed a kit deal with Devon based VX3 (which refers to the phrase attributed to Julius Ceasar, “Veni, vidi, vici”) to supply them in their 80th year.
Both home and away are in tradition colourways, green and yellow for the primary kit and navy and light blues on the change, but the third throws back to kit from 15 years ago and just might have something to do with the Heart of Midlothian allegiances of co-designers Sam Outing and Rich Lusmore, seeing as the base colour is a sweet Jambos-ian maroon.
You don’t see many true kit-sets any more, that is three kits with the familial look that a shared template bestows, so there is something deeply pleasing about all three shirts featuring a smart polo collar over a thin V-neckline and ribbed cuffs trimmed with a contrast stripe, white in this case.

The shirt body design of tonal chequers also echoes the home and away shirt, set underneath solid deep maroon Raglan sleeves which carry the England Football logo in white on the right sleeve (as worn) denoting the Eastender’s status as an accredited club, and on the left sleeve a well thought out yellow patch marking the club’s 80th year.
As on all of the 2026/27 Eastenders kits, the third features the new Easington crest which places the interlocking EUAFC initials in blue inside a roundel with a quartered field in yellow and green, reflecting the traditional home kit style.
Underneath that badge and VX3 logo lay the wordmark of main sponsor Centrica, the parent company of British Gas, which is somewhat more impressive a backer than Simon Gray Travel! On the back of the shirt, above the numbers, is the wordmark of estimable local weekly newspaper the Holderness and Hornsea Gazette.
Completing the kit are maroon shorts and socks with white trim.
The Easington United third is nothing less than a triumph for both club and supplier VX3, offering some Jam Tarts sweetness to the Eastender’s kit pantheon as the club turns octogenarian.
